One Hopes, One Fights

You don't win by hoping. There are no prizes, no banners, no awards handed out for the ones who hoped the most.

You don't win by hoping. You hope when things are out of your hands. Someone else controls your destiny. You anxiously wait on the sidelines hoping things work out. And usually…they don’t.

But if you really want something to happen there is a better way. You find away to get involved where you can influence the outcome. This dramatically increases you odds of winning because….

You win when you fight.

You get involved. You get in a position to have an impact on the outcome.
You find the barriers and you attack them because they aren’t going to go away by themselves.

If you really want something, stop hoping and start fighting to make it happen.

Set Yourself Up For Success!

If you react the right way, you can take a one time beating—learn your lessons—make your corrections and turn things around. If you don’t you are going to continue to get beat for the rest of your life.

You Have a Choice.

You can give up, make excuses and accept defeat or...You can change your viewpoint and change your life. It starts when you realize that you can improve. It starts when you realize you can get better—and you decide to fight when you realize you can beat them.

Reasons you can win:

  • What goes up must come down. Life goes in cycles.
  • It's hard to win once.  It's harder to win the second time. Your competition won’t be as hungry the second time. They will be thinking of other things.
  • They won’t want to work as hard, because they are enjoying their victory.
  • You probably have more room for improvement than they do.
  • You are motivated to improve. They won, why should they improve?
  • Your improvement can give you the edge.
  • They won’t worry as much about you the second time. Why should they? They already beat you.

All of these things are real. You see them play out over and over again in all walks of life...and this creates your edge!

Fighting to be free

The Easy Part

For some it's not enough to be politically free. They want to be occupationally free and the only way to do that is to have their own business. Going into business for yourself is your own personal “Declaration of Independence." That’s the easy part.

The Hard Part

After that comes the hard part. The hard part is the struggle to be free and the fight for your independence as  you work you way through the steps of getting your business functioning at a profitable level.

No Guarantees

Like all fights for independence, success is not guaranteed.

In fact statistics say the overwhelming majority don’t last 5 years. So before you start you should take a cold, hard look at the odds and decide you’ll do what it takes to put yourself in the survivor column.

Help Helps

Just like the United States had in its fight, it is a big help when you can find outsiders who believe in you to come in and help you fight some of the battles in the early stages—and even help with funding to get you started. It always increases your odds to have interested and supportive friends.

But it's Your Fight

Regardless of the help of others, the fight is yours, and the brunt of the pressure will be yours to face. You’ll be amazed at the number and variety of the problems that appear. The good news is that they always seem worse when you face them for the first time. At that point, they can seem overwhelming.

When In a Fight, You'd Better Be Ready to Throw Punches

Unless you are approaching this as a full on fight for your Financial Independence and not just another series of jobs for you to do, you have no chance of succeeding. You won’t be tough enough. You won’t be determined enough.

Problems that are temporary and minor will overwhelm you because you didn’t mentally prepare yourself to deal with them. You’ll find yourself unnecessarily beaten, your dream stolen by minor and easily resolved troubles.

On the other hand, if you are mentally prepared and totally committed,  you’ll find you do have the toughness to withstand these challenges—unraveling them, dealing with them and eventually solving them, one by one.

It's the Only Way

Running this gauntlet is the ONLY process that allows you develop the precious new experiences, knowledge and resources you’ll need to survive and run your own new profitable business. This is the way, step by step, you win your battle for independence.

Incredible Rewards

The rewards of freedom are incredible, but you are going to have a fight of a lifetime to make it happen. If you decide to do it, give it everything you have and more until the job gets done because only that burning desire will give you a real chance of winning.

If you don’t want it bad enough to really fight for it, don’t even startIf you do decide to go for it, keep this thought in your mind as you go…

Others have done it and so can you! It will be the fight of a lifetime, but it will be worth it a thousand times over!
